It was indeed a pleasure and honor speaking at the Bay Area Mastermind. Even though I was there to talk about how offline marketers can benefit from taking their business online, my entire presentation was focused on three specific areas.

  1. Internet Marketing & Changing Dynamics
  2. How to attract a lot of traffic to your website, build lists and make money in the process
  3. The self discipline needed to build a thriving online business
As the talk about Michael Jackson's passing continues to take priority in most of American media, it is interesting to note how the public has changed their opinion of the late performer.  On July 3rd 2009, Billboard presented some information gathered by Nielsen company that demonstrated the dramatic shift in the public's opinion about Michael Jackson.

The numbers are interesting especially given the short time between the initial findings and the subsequent findings.
Of all the social networking websites out there, LinkedIn is perhaps the most focused on business networking. It stands apart from the other sites such as Twitter, Facebook and MySpace in a much bigger way, too, and the strategies that you might use to make the most of these other non-business sites couldn't be further from LinkedIn's ways.

LinkedIn isn't about "friends", "followers" or "fans", many of which you may meet online. LinkedIn is more focused on your existing real-life network and introductions from people you really know to others you'd like to know.

So how do you make the most of LinkedIn?
Robert - Trends.JPGLast night, we had a great networking event at the Decathlon Club in Santa Clara! Thank you for joining us for an evening of networking and a presentation on what's been happening in the economy and 7 Tactics for Marketing in a Recession.

Robert's insight into the economy and the current market conditions was well received and Jeremy's tactics for marketing in a recession sparked many an idea in the group.

Many of us have heard that video is the in thing these days if you are going to be trying to captivate visitors on your site. A recent study is showing that on average Americans are spending as much as 9 hours in front of some screen per day.

The question then is are they viewing videos, movies and the like or just spending time on the computer.

With all the buzz about Social Media and Social Networking, it's easy to get caught up in which sites to be on. This is the first in a series of blog posts about the top sites that we've found, used and worked with and think would be of value to you, too.
